I work with nerve system! Once I ‘press’ the wrong one, I make my clients in pain. This job pushes me to be alert all the time. Though I am not in a good condition, I still force myself to concentrate to my fingers. But, when I learned that my guests are satisfied with my work, it means a lot for me.

What is the challenge of working as a therapist?
Communicating with people with different characteristics. This is surely a skill that hoteliers should posses. To master this skill, a process is needed, and it is not a piece of cake for me. Working in hospitality industry forces me to sharpen my social skill.
Who inspires you most?
My parents. They taught me to be affectionate, patient, and treat people nicely and I apply it in my own life. I myself believe those characters are positive and bring positive effects to others.
How do you like to work at Grand Mirage Resort?
Wonderful! Especially the spa team. Here, everybody supports and listen to each other. It is more than enough for me.
How do you see yourself 5 years from now?
I will be a better therapist, in terms of skill, and personality. Apart from that, I will have my own spa and I dream it to be the best spa in Bali.
Ida Bagus Gede Surya Arimbawa

I deal with technology here, though I was not graduated from that major. To develop myself, I continue my study in a university in Bali majoring Information and Technology. Fortunately, the classes are on Saturday and Sunday which eases me.

What is the challenge of working as an IT staff?
I have to learn much about new programs or system which I never touched before. However, it pushes me to learn again and again.
Who inspires you most?
My mom. She always supports and guides me. To work in this hotel was my mom’s idea, and I never regret for this decision. I love working here with my current job.
How do you like to work at Grand Mirage Resort?
Awesome! I like the team! They are lovely. They can be friends outside the office, but they are professional when they are working. It assures me that I could develop myself here.
How do you see yourself 5 years from now?
I will be a better person with better job and more responsibilities.
