Thalasso Housekeeper- Joined in 1994

I have been working here since the Grand Mirage was still built in 1994, then I firstly took the responsibility to work in Thalasso in 1997. Here, I am responsible to keep every corner in Thalasso spotless and tidy, so all the staff and guests feel comfy spending their time in this Bali spa.

How do you like to work at Grand Mirage Resort?

Wonderful, for me this is the work that suits me well that is why I enjoy working as what I am now. I also fall in love with Grand Mirage Resort, and I am willing to dedicate myself until I retire later. If they would like to prolong the contract, I am more than happy to sign it.

Who inspires you most?

Agung, my supervisor. He is a good example for other staff. All the staff feels comfortable to mingle with him while at the same time, he also teaches us how to work well.

How does Grand Mirage change you?

I learn the value of team work here. Working in a hospitality industry is about teamwork- and it is not easy for a big property like grand Mirage Resort and Thalasso Bali.

What is your motivation to work in Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali?

My love to my job and my spirit wake me up every morning and they move my body to the office and do all the work.

How do you see yourself 10 years from now?

I would focus on my existing Balinese offering shop in Tanjung Benoa. But still, if one day Grand Mirage Resort contacts me to work with it again, I greatly appreciate it.

Handling people with different needs and wants is a skill that I learned here. I am proud that I could prove myself with this award in my 5th months. I would develop myself in the future so I could be a better receptionist.

How do you like to work at Grand Mirage Resort?

WOW! I could meet with people from all around the world, meeting new persons and having new friends.  I discover to recognize people characters as well. On top of that, I could earn money by myself which makes me proud.

Who inspires you most?

My mother. She supported me, I learned many values from her, so I could grow up like who I am now. Though she has passed away, her values still linger in my mind.

How does Grand Mirage change you?

I am now a team member who already knows what I have to do and how to treat others nicely- either they are my colleagues or the hotel guests

What is your motivation to work in Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali?

I am eager to make my life better and better in terms of personality and financial. Thanks to Grand Mirage which has given me chance to advance my life skills. My ambition to be a Front Office Manager 4 years from now also pushes me to work harder and harder.

How do you see yourself 10 years from now?

I am a successful entrepreneur that builds my own restaurant.
